PRX-T33® is a new procedure that uses a non-toxic combination of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and hydrogen peroxide to let your skin heal itself from the inside out. It avoids any aggressive defoliation of the dermis, which minimizes redness, irritation and the recovery time so common to other peels. The chemicals soak down into the dermal layer, beneath your outer skin. And PRX-T33® doesn’t use needles; it’s completely painless!

PRX-T33® TCA/H2O2/KOJIC Perfect Intense Liquid provides an immediate aesthetic improvement, deep hydration and an effective dermal stimulation. Even though one of the ingredients (TCA) has historically been used as a peeling agent, PRX itself is not a peel: it doesn’t cause frosting and subsequent desquamation, but it helps to stimulate the deeper layers of the skin without harming the superficial ones.
Q: Why is PRX-T33® different than a peel?
A: Peels work by removing old skin cells and exposing the new skin underneath. This process can be more or less invasive - depending on the depth and aggressiveness of the peeling agent used, but all peels expose you to downtime (i.e. you’ll have to wait for the flakes to fall off) and risks (i.e. hypo- and hyper-pigmentation, infection, etc. ). PRX-T33 on the other hand helps to stimulate the skin to create new collagen, which gives it structure and elasticity, with no downtime and none of the risks commonly associated with peels.
Q: What are the benefits of this product?

Q: Will I have redness and irritation afterwards, like most chemical peels?
A: No, not at all. In fact, the PRX-T33® treatment is so kind to your outer layer of skin that you can even have it done on the day of an event. You’ll feel great, look glowing and fresh, and your skin will continue healing from the dermis outward.
Q: The harsh Florida sun concerns me after a treatment. Will I have to avoid it?
A: This is a miracle treatment in a sense. You won’t have to avoid the sun in the same way that you should after traditional chemical peels. Because it doesn’t damage the epidermis of the skin, PRX-T33® doesn’t cause photosensitivity like some peels do, and you can enjoy an afternoon at the pool or beach that same day without worry.
Q: I’m busy and can’t really spend a couple of hours on a treatment. Will this work for me?
A: PRX-T33® treatments usually last only about a half-hour! You can zip in on your lunch break, get a soothing and effective peel, and be back on the go within the hour. You’ll see the results right away, some immediate gratification for your effort!
First, your skin is thoroughly cleaned and prepped. Then the product is applied with fingertips or spatula, making about three passes with the gel. Your face is then gently massaged until the product is absorbed, and then you’ll have a refreshing water rinse to clean your face. Typically, most clients use a moisturizer immediately afterward. Clients then also apply a special fluid, called wiqo, at night 24 hours laters, and the wiqo is reapplied weekly for six weeks to maintain the healing process.
